Milwaukee residents looking to improve their overall well being and secure nutritious meals for their families have a date to mark on their calendars this autumn. The Higher Dimension Community Enterprise Corporation has announced it will partner once again with Pentecostal Power Church to host the 3rd Annual Community Health, Wellness and Food Security Initiative. This family friendly gathering aims to tackle the pressing issue of food insecurity while providing local citizens with easier access to vital health information and supportive social services.
Scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2026, the event will run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Pentecostal Power Church, located at 2331 West Center Street. Under the leadership of Pastor Bishop Dr. Ellis Murchison Sr., the church will serve as a hub for community connection and support. Organizers hope that by bringing these various resources together in one location, they can help families build more sustainable paths toward long term health and stability.
Attendees can expect to find a variety of community organizations on site offering educational materials and guidance on how to navigate available public resources. In addition to the informational booths, the initiative will feature a highly anticipated turkey and food giveaway, which will continue until all supplies are exhausted. It is intended as both a practical aid for those struggling with grocery costs and a way to foster stronger bonds among neighbors across Milwaukee.
Saryea Murchison of HD Community Enterprise emphasizes that the goal of the day is to empower individuals through knowledge and direct assistance. By focusing on both immediate needs like food security and long term goals like general wellness, organizers believe they can make a tangible difference in the lives of many households. All community members are encouraged to stop by during the three hour window to see what tools and supports are available to them and their loved ones.
